Interleukin 12 (IL-12) is an interleukin produced by antigen presenting cells (dendritic cells, macrophages, B cells) in response to antigenic stimulation. The cytokine drives naive T cells differentiate to Th1 cells. Active IL-12 is a heterodimer composed of two subunits: P35 and P40. SPEED Biosytems provides the following versions of P35 subunit, P40 subunit and active p35-p40 dimers.
